What we do and why
A world where all young people are able to work towards what they want to achieve, and can make a positive transition to adult life and living on their own.
Our Mission
We provide housing, support and training for young people aged 16+ who are in care or are care leavers and need extra help to prepare for living on their own. This includes young people from refugee and asylum seeking (UASC) background.
Preparing for independent living
- Understanding individual needs and delivering life skills training through one-to-one support.
- Supporting young people with life skills training provided by colleges and other organisations.
- Understanding rights and responsibilities.
- Helping young people to understand what help they can expect as looked after children and care leavers.
- Developing young people’s understanding of life in the UK, including their rights and their responsibilities
Twmpath Support
From low/floating support of a minimum of 5 hours a week to a fully comprehensive support packages including sleep ins.
- Support for young people who are not in a Twmpath home.
- We will work with you and your Local Authority to put support in place that meets your needs.
